I was under the impression that JR did not sell a LS boost upgrade kit, only for GSR and Type-R. A CRV pulley will add 5% more air to whatever currently he is running. If it is mixed with a proper fuel ratio that should amount to almost 5% more power. It is based on the ratio between the blower pulley and the crank pulley. Every car responds different to boost. The stock LS kit makes anywhere from 5-7psi without much difference in power levels. It can sometimes come down to exhaust size and cam phasing to create different PSI readings. Doesn't neccesarily mean more or less power. The CRV pulley added to a stock kit should add nearly 1.5 psi to whatever you started with. Who cares what psi it is, it's how much power does it add and in this case, 5% more.

Hmmm, I looked it up and jrsc doesnt sell a boost upgrade. We assusmed it had it because it was making 9psi.

There used to be a pulley on there that made 9psi, a unorthodox racing pulley was later put on and it made the same amount of boost as before.

A friend of mine has a 96 integra ls with a jrsc running at 9psi. He has the jrsc boost upgrade kit.

Will a CRV pulley up his boost to 11psi? (I have heard conflicting stories)

It was probably a CRV pulley before... The Unorthodox crank pulley diameter is based on the stock CRV pulley.
